The Water Corporation is committed to establishing closer links with our customers. A key element in achieving this is establishing avenues for effective two-way communication. A closer working relationship with groups such as our Customer Advisory Council help us to understand and keep pace with customers' changing needs and to shape our business accordingly.
Our Council comprises of no less than 11 representatives from communities throughout Western Australia who provide us with advice on issues affecting our customers including;
Membership is for a period of up to two years and meetings are held once a month, with the exception of January. Travel expenses (including overnight accommodation if required) for country members are paid by the Water Corporation.
To be eligible to join our Customer Advisory Council you must have an active interest in the community and/or a particular customer segment. You need to be able to contribute skills and knowledge and to articulate community/customer segment views and provide feedback. You need to be committed to working constructively in the team within the philosophy and framework of an Advisory Council.
