Community Consultation
The Water Corporation continues to work with the community in the planning for the Southern Seawater Desalination Project. We have been engaging with the community and asking for feedback through a number of ways including community meetings, newsletters, advertising and this website.
If you have ideas about how the community would like to be involved or other ways in which the Water Corporation might be able to support the community, please Contact us and let us know your thoughts.
Your Community Reference Group
A Community Reference Group (CRG) has been established to enhance communications between the Water Corporation project team tasked to build the desalination plant and the communities of Binningup and Myalup.
The CRG will meet regularly and act as a forum for community concerns to be discussed and for solutions to be developed. Local community members are encouraged to speak to their community representatives on the CRG who can bring their concerns to the meeting.
