Construction Schedule

Every month the latest construction schedule will be available here in an effort to provide residents with the most up-to-date information.

Where practical or in extraordinary circumstances, other communication channels may be employed including the newsletter, CRG, local publications, newspaper advertising and letter-box drops.

Over the coming months you can expect the following construction activities:

• Continued marine excavation of the retrieval pit for the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM)
• Launch of the Tunnel Boring Machine
• Undergound tunnelling of the seawater intake pipe
• Transportation of the Seawater Intake Towers to site
• Finalisation of a chamber being used to launch the second TBM for the diffuser (outlet) pipe
• Structural steel being erected for the Reverse Osmosis and Microfiltration (MF) buildings
• Pipe laying between the Seawater Pump Station and the MF building
• Lime Clarifier arrival onsite.
