Review of Declared Drainage Area boundaries
Extensive development has occurred within metropolitan Perth over the past decade. This has resulted in the need to review the existing Declared Drainage Area boundaries.
The Declared Drainage District is the formal area that encompasses all properties, which are located within catchments that benefit from and/or contribute to the need for drainage services and are eligible to pay an annual drainage service charge.
A review of existing Declared Drainage Area boundaries has been completed and revised boundaries of the individual declared drainage areas have been identified.
Following the completion of the public comment period and subject to any objections being satisfactorily resolved, the revised declared drainage area boundaries will come into effect on 1 July 2011.
A map of the Perth Metropolitan Declared Drainage District is provided below:
Individual boundary and locality maps for all declared drainage areas in the Perth metropolitan disctrict are provided below. Boundary maps provide an overview of the wider impacted area. Locality maps provide exact locations impacted by the boundary review.
