We recognise that young people need to be educated about water issues so that they develop the awareness, knowledge and skills to be able to make sound water management decisions in the future.
In achieving these aims our Education office provides comprehensive curriculum materials to support teachers in teaching water education through the different learning areas of the curriculum from Pre-Primary through to Year 11/12.
Our website offers information on a wide range of water themed topics, quite a few cool fun games under the Fun stuff section and information about how to become a waterwise school.
Coming very soon for teachers will be a brand new area on our website that will allow you to book lectures online and browse our excellent curriculum resources which cater for early childhood, middle childhood and early adolescences. Keep an eye on the Talks and Tours and Resources area of this site.

As part of our Education office, the Water Corporation introduced the Waterwise Schools Program in 1995 as a long term, whole of school approach to water education with the aim to educate students, their families and the wider community about the need to value, protect and conserve our precious water resources.
The Waterwise Schools Program supports students' growth in knowledge and appreciation of water in the water cycle, informing their choices and community response well past childhood.
