Annual Report

The Groundwater Replenishment Trial publishes an Annual Report, providing an overview of Trial activity and research findings for each financial year.

The report includes information on governance, communications and design and construction of the Trial plant, as well as a summary of the technical research undertaken in each year around water quality and hydrogeology.

Premiers Collaborative Research Program Report

The Premiers Collaborative Research Program project Characterising Treated Wastewater for Drinking Purposes Following Reverse Osmosis Treatment was a collaboration between government and research partners, under the strategic directionof WA Department of Health,and investigated treating wastewater to drinking water standards using theadvanced water recycling process.

The project won the 2010 Water Recycling Merit Award and provided the groundwork for the Groundwater Replenishment Trial to commence.

Groundwater Report 2011

This report presents the data from the first six months of recharge and a risk assessment for the Leederville aquifer based on those results in combination with laboratory column studies and numerical modelling described in the report.

Recharge to the Leederville aquifer began on 10 November 2010.
