As part of the Water Corporation's commitment to ongoing community consultation and education, a Visitor Centre has been built at the Advanced Water Recycling Plant in Craigie. The Centre will give the public an opportunity to see the recycling facility for themselves and learn more about groundwater replenishment.
Visitors will be taken on the water cycle journey through the use of interpretive walkways and film. The Centre will also teach visitors about the water recycling process and how groundwater replenishment can play a role in sustaining Perth’s water supplies.
Tours of the Advanced Water Recycling Plant and Visitor Centre are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, depending on availability. The first tour of the day commences at 9am and the final tour at 4pm. Each tour runs for approximately 1 hour, with a maximum of 15 people per tour.
It would be appreciated if tour requests are submitted a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the preferred tour date. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
For health and safety reasons, tours may need to be rescheduled if the weather is unsuitable. Advance notice will be given for rescheduled tours.
Confirmation of your tour booking, safety requirements and location map will be sent to you prior to your tour.
To schedule a tour, please complete and submit the online Tour Booking Form.
