The Annual Permit Fee, Quality-Quantity Charges, and activity-based Fees for associated services provided by us are the only costs that you will incur under your Industrial Waste service. However, you will also retain your standard Sewerage Service, which covers the costs of your normal sewerage discharges from staff facilities, offices and other non-process areas of your business.

Industrial Waste and Sewerage Service are the only charges levied by the Water Corporation for your use of our wastewater system and sewer disposal services. But you may have other costs associated with your wastewater disposal, for services supplied by other parties.

For example, the Industrial Waste service does not include the provision and maintenance of any pre-treatment equipment (such as grease traps, etc.) that you may require. You will need to arrange for the proper disposal of solids or concentrated contaminant solutions captured by your pre-treatment fixture. You may also have other costs associated with solid waste streams, stormwater runoff, or other wastewater streams not discharged to sewer.

These associated services are not provided within the Industrial Waste service, and are not included in the charges we levy. Instead, you will be billed directly by the providers who you arrange to deliver those services.
