Port Hedland infill sewerage

Port Hedland 9B and 10A

Works have commenced in Port Hedland 9B and 10A, as part of the statewide Infill Sewerage Program.  This will enable you to connect your property to Water Corporation's central wastewater system.

How long will the work take?

We hope to finish construction work by March 2013, however work associated with many houses might be finished long before then. While minor delays are possible due to weather or challenging ground conditions, we are aiming to get the job done as quickly as possible and with minimal disruption.

What impact will the work have on residents?

While construction of a central wastewater system is quite disruptive, we aim to minimise the impact on you and your property.

The construction of a central wastewater system requires the excavation of trenches between 2-5 meters deep. This is likely to create some sand and dust, but we will do all we can to keep the area as tidy as possible and clean up as we go.

Should works be undertaken within your property we will do our best to restore it to as near as practicable to its original condition.
