What is Showerhead Swap?
Showerhead Swap is a new water-saving program from the Water Corporation. Residential customers in the Perth metropolitan area can exchange up to two old water-guzzling showerheads for highly efficient replacements absolutely FREE!
Installing a water efficient showerhead is the best way to save water inside the home. On average the shower uses approximately 22% of overall household water use.
How do I get my free highly efficient showerhead/s?
A brochure with the full details on Showerhead Swap will be enclosed in your next water use account. Accounts are issued, suburb by suburb, based on our meter reading roster.

Where do I swap my showerheads/s?
Once you have received your 2011 water use account and read the Showerhead Swap brochure you can swap your old showerhead/s at the Returns and Exchanges desk of your local metropolitan Bunnings store.
What if I don't receive a water use account?
If you are a Water Corporation customer and own a residential property in the metropolitan area, but don't receive a water use account (e.g. you live in a strata property), you can call 1300 133 646 and we'll send you a letter with the information you need to take to Bunnings and swap your showerhead/s.
If you rent a residential property in the metropolitan area and want to participate in the program contact your landlord and talk to them about arranging a swap on your behalf.
