Our Showerhead Swap program ended on 30 April 2013 in the Perth metro area. Over 124,000 showerheads were swapped – enough to save more than 387 Olympic swimming pools of water each year!
What is showerhead swap?
Participating residential customers in the Perth metropolitan area can exchange up to two old water-guzzling showerheads for highly efficient replacements for absolutely FREE. By switching to high efficiency showerheads, you can still enjoy a good pressure shower and save up to 12,000 litres of water per year.
How do I get my free highly efficient showerhead/s?
Take up to two of your old showerheads along with your most recent water use account (not your annual service change account) to the Returns and Exchanges desk at your nearest Bunnings store for a free on-the-spot swap.

What if I don’t receive a water use account?
If you are one of our customers and own a residential property in the metropolitan area, but don’t receive a water use account (e.g. you live in a strata property), you can call 1300 133 646 and we’ll send you a letter with the information you need to take to Bunnings to swap your showerhead/s.
Are endorsed Waterwise Councils eligible?
Yes, endorsed Waterwise Councils in the Perth Metropolitan area are now eligible to participate in Showerhead Swap!
