Drone usage over Water Corporation assets

They're fun to fly, great for photography and video, but we'd prefer you didn't fly them over our dams and infrastructure.

So unless authorised (see commercial requests below), the use of drones, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) or remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) over Water Corporation property (‘private land’) is strictly prohibited.

The use of drones is illegal, non-compliant, and presents a risk to the public water supply, critical infrastructure and invades the privacy with unauthorised surveillance of members of the public and Water Corporation staff.

Prohibited areas include our dams, operating infrastructure and catchment areas.

For commercial requests, please contact our media team on (08) 9420 2555.
