We’re replacing bridges in the Perth Metropolitan, South West and Great Southern regions to ensure the long term safety of road users.
We’re working closely with Main Roads and local authorities to prioritise bridge upgrade works, which range from full bridge replacements to smaller refurbishments.

Shire of Harvey
Bridge and drain repair work
Harding Road and Whatman Road, Harvey
Our authorised contractor Bocol, will undertake the following work:
- Upgrades to the drain located on the corner of Whatman Road and Herbert Road
- Repair work to a bridge located along Harding Road
Work is estimated to begin the week commencing 25 March 2019 and is expected to be completed by May 2019.
During construction, the Harding Road bridge will be closed from 29 March to late April 2019.
Traffic management will be in place at all times, we urge you to take extra care around the work area and observe the instructions of traffic management personnel and signage.
Shire of Waroona
Coronation Road bridge repair work
Our authorised contractor Fulton Hogan, will undertake work to repair a bridge on Coronation Road in the Shire of Waroona from February - May 2019.
The bridge will be closed for construction from 18 February to 10 March 2019. View a map of the traffic detours.
The bridge will have one lane available to traffic at all other times. Traffic management will be in place and we urge you to take extra care around the work area and observe the instructions of traffic management personnel and signage.
Why is this work taking place?
We manage most of the bridges that cross Water Corporation drains. A number of these have been identified for a full bridge replacement, smaller refurbishments or the installation of guardrails. We are working closely with Main Roads and relevant local authorities to prioritise this work.
