The new wastewater pipeline along Melaleuca Drive has recently been completed, with this pipe now in service.
Where is this happening?
Work at the Stonebridge Estate includes construction of approximately 340m of below ground wastewater pipeline, work on the existing gravity sewer and a new wastewater pump station. The location of this work is shown on the below map.
When is this happening?
Work commenced in late July 2019 and will be completed by the beginning of 2020. The majority of work will be completed Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm. Some weekend and night work may be required, however we will notify affected residents closer to the time.
How will this impact the community?
Local residents in these areas should expect medium-level noise from trucks and an excavator laying pipework.
There will also be some low-level vibrations and dust present.
Throughout the duration of the work traffic management will be in place along the pipeline construction route and during deep excavation along Kookaburra Way.
Please be assured that any affected area will be reinstated as closely as possible to its condition prior to the work.
Dewatering occurring during this project is done so following the Department of Water and Environment dewatering standards and is not occurring at a high volume. All water is being recharged nearby.
