back to current projects

Project goal:

To improve the disposal of wastewater in west Busselton.

Commencing soon

Delivery Date:

End of 2019

What’s happening?

Our authorised contractor, CD Drilling, will soon commence work to upgrade wastewater services in west Busselton.

Where is this happening?

The work will install approximately 1.6 kilometres of wastewater pipeline along Melaleuca Drive, Fairway Drive, Edith Agnes Circle and Mary Elizabeth Ramble. The pipeline will cross the Broadwater Nature reserve (underground) and join the existing wastewater pipes on Centurion Way. Refer to the map below for the work area.

When is this happening?

Work is expected to beginning in mid April 2019 and will be completed by the end of 2019. The majority of work will be completed Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm. Some weekend and night work may be required, however we will notify affected residents closer to the time.

How will this impact the community?

Local residents in these areas should expect medium-level noise from trucks and an excavator laying pipework.

There will also be some low-level vibrations and dust present. We also request that road verges be kept clear over this period, closest to the road reserve along the pipeline route.

Throughout the duration of the work traffic management will be in place along the pipeline construction route.

Please be assured that any affected area will be reinstated as closely as possible to its condition prior to the work.
