What's happening?

We're planning to construct a water pipeline in Hazelmere and Helena Valley. The proposed pipeline will be below-ground and constructed by open trench excavation. This project is currently in the planning and consultation phase.

Where is this happening?

The work will be taking place in Hazelmere and Helena Valley. For more details download our Map of planned works - Hazelmere & Helena Valley.

Why is this work taking place?

The construction of the new pipeline is to improve the reliability of water supply for the Goldfields and Agricultural Water Scheme (GAWS).

When is this happening?

We anticipate that construction will start in late 2019 and will take approximately eight months to complete.

How will this impact the community?

Unfortunately, construction of a pipeline can be noisy and dusty. We will do our best to reduce the impacts on people in the area. We will be in contact with you if you are likely to be directly impacted by construction.

Traffic conditions will be impacted, and while we will minimise any inconvenience as much as possible, delays can be expected.

Who can I contact?
