Leeman Pump Station

Improving the water supply in Leeman.

back to current projects

Project goal:

To improve the water supply in Leeman

In construction

Delivery Date:

Mid-September 2018 - May 2019

What's happening?

Water Corporation started work to improve reliability of water supply in Leeman in September last year. This work involved the construction of a pump station, to replace the elevated tank which supplies water to the town.

The elevated tank will be removed once the new pump station becomes fully functional. The map overleaf shows the location of this work.

Will I notice a change in my water pressure?

Once this work is complete, customers in Leeman may notice an increase in the water pressure they receive. This means that your sprinklers may throw further and water flowing from taps, appliances and toilets (and leaks) may increase.

We recommend that you monitor the amount of water used at your property as this may affect your water bill.

When is this happening?

We are expecting to complete this program of work in May 2019; however you may notice a slight increase or fluctuation in water pressure over the next few weeks,

Where can I find out more information?
