Midland and Guildford Sewer Relining

back to current projects

Project goal:

Refurbish ageing wastewater pipes in Midland and Guildford

Commencing soon

Delivery Date:

June 2018

What's happening?

Water Corporation will refurbish ageing wastewater pipes in Midland and Guildford in June 2018.

Sewer relining uses trenchless technology to clean access chambers and refurbish existing wastewater pipes.

Please refer to the map on the second tab above for the City of Swan sewer relining work area.

What are the impacts?

Residents may notice more activity in the area, noise from generators and vehicles and temporary odour.

Access to your property may be required to carry out some of the work. If so, the contractor, Interflow, will contact you directly to discuss and arrange entry.

Where required, traffic management will be in place to direct people safely around the work area.

This work will be completed at night and is expected to commence 11 June 2018 and take up to one week to complete. We will work from Monday to Friday between 7pm and 6am.

Work will take place along Lloyd Street and The Crescent in Midland and then move to East St, James St, Fauntleroy St, Great Eastern Highway and beside the Midland railway line in Guildford (see map).

The red lines in the map below are the pipes to be relined.

We generally work around the access chambers shown as red dots on the map.
