Charles Street and Beatty Park, North Perth (Bypass)

As part of the sewer relining work, the installation of a wastewater bypass pipe was required to avoid wastewater overflows. Two excavations were required to create a bypass on Charles Street to progress sewer relining work, these where located within a fenced off area in Beatty Park on the Charles Street side.

Day work began in early March and took 2 weeks to complete.

Night work began Monday, 19 March and took 1 week to complete. Work commenced from Violet Street, progressed through Mick Michael Park and continued along Charles Street.
