Water Corporation will begin to refurbish ageing wastewater pipes in Town of Claremont.
Sewer relining uses trenchless technology to clean access chambers and refurbish existing wastewater pipes.
Residents may notice more activity in the area, noise from generators and vehicles and temporary odour. If access to your property is required the contractor, Interflow, will contact you directly to discuss and arrange entry. Where required, traffic management will be in place to direct people safely around the work area.
Please refer to the map below for work areas within the Town of Claremont.
Work is expected to begin in Claremont from Tuesday 12 December 2017 and will break for the Christmas period on Thursday 21 December 2017. Work will resume in early January 2018 and the project is expected to be completed by March 2018.
Work will occur from Monday to Saturday between 7.00 pm and 6.00 am and will generally take place in one area for six days at a time.
Work is planned for Dalkeith and Nedlands in 2018-19.
