Roxburghe wastewater upgrades

What’s happening?

Our authorised contractor, DM Civil, has begun upgrading a section of wastewater pipe located along Roxeburghe Drive. The Roxburghe wastewater pipeline is a critical asset and this upgrade will help secure the reliability of wastewater to the Ellenbrook area for the future.

Where is this happening?

Work started at the Pump Station, which is located 50 meters south of Dalmilling Drive, and will continue through to the intersection of Roxburghe Drive and Champagne Terrace. 

What to expect?

As with any construction activities, there will be an increase in noise, dust, light, and truck activity in the area. There will also be temporary impacts to roads, vergers, and pedestrian paths. the south bound lane on Roxburghe Drive between Dalmilling Drive and Portmarnock Drive will be temporarily closed whilst work is taking place. Traffic management and detours are in place to help guide traffic around the area. Please follow directions and allow extra time for your trip. We will aim to reduce these impacts where possible.

Will this impact my water supply?

This is a wastewater project and will therefore not impact your water service. Should you have any issues with your water supply, please contact our Faults Team on 13 13 75.

Final Road Closure 

Our authorised contractor, DM Civil, have upgraded a section of wastewater pipe located along Roxburghe Drive, and are now in the final stage of reinstating the road area previously affected by the installation of the new wastewater pipeline. This stage will require a final 1-day road closure in February, which will be the last road closure for this project. 

What to expect? 

Roxburghe Drive will undergo a full closure between the corner of Champagne Terrance cul-de-sac (South) and immediately before the Dalmilling Rd, Roxburghe Drive intersection (North), which will occur between 7:00am and 5:00pm on Thursday 5 February.
As with the closure that occurred on 20 January 2026, Roxburghe residents will be given access via the limestone access track located at the north end of the closure near the Dalmilling Rd, Roxburghe Drive intersection during the closure period.
