Support & celebrate
We aim to support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and questioning people to thrive and bring their whole selves to work. Through advocacy, education and visible allyship, we support a diverse range of initiatives across the business that foster inclusion, connection and equality for our LGBTQIA+ community.
Our list of inclusive LGBTQIA+ initiatives and achievements are growing and include:
- An active, executive-sponsored, cross-organisational Pride working group to advocate and build greater inclusion
- An active Pride Social Network to build connection amongst LGBTQIA+ employees and allies
- Member of Pride In Water, the national water industry Pride network
- Member of Pride in Diversity, a not-for-profit advocating for LGBTQ+ inclusion in workplaces
- Annual participation in the Perth PrideWA Parade and Fairday
- Recognition of events such as International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), Trans Day of Visibility and Wear it Purple Day
- Sponsorship of regional pride events
- Providing LGBTQIA+ and pronoun awareness training to employees and leaders
- Offering transgender awareness training to employees
- Pronoun pins available to all employees
