Water Corporation crews are responding to ensure water and wastewater services are maintained across Western Australia during the current wet weather.

The heavy rainfall in many areas of the State has caused stormwater to infiltrate wastewater systems, resulting in wastewater overflows in some locations. Signage is in place to advise the public to keep away from these areas.

Crews are prioritising and responding, however some areas cannot be accessed due to flooding. In areas that can be accessed, crews are onsite removing wastewater with tankers, cleaning and disinfecting these areas.

In the unlikely event your property is impacted internally by wastewater, please call us straight away on 13 13 75 for assistance, or visit https://watercorporation.com.au/faults/sewer-blockage-or-overflow.

We also want to remind people to keep away from stormwater drains, which may be temporally full of fast-flowing water after this heavy rain.  There is the potential for flowing stormwater to knock pets and small children off their feet, and they can become caught in drains.

To report any issues with your water or wastewater services, phone us 24 hours on 13 13 75.
