Project goal:

We are upgrading wastewater infrastructure and services in the City of Swan and Shire of Mundaring.

Status:

Completed

Delivery Date:

September 2024

What’s happening?

The Elder Way wastewater pump station is located on the corner of Elder Way and Katharine Street in Bellevue. Additional emergency storage pipes are being installed next to the existing pump station which will ensure we can continue to safely dispose of wastewater for the growing area..

When is this happening?

The Bellevue wastewater upgrades are planned for construction from April until September 2024..

How will this impact me?

  • Construction activity and noise: During work hours you may notice a temporary increase in noise, dust, vibrations, odour, and activity in the area. We will aim to reduce these impacts where possible.
  • For the safety of residents, stop/slow single lane traffic management when construction materials are being delivered to site.
  • Access to Elder Park playground will remain open.

Water Corporation - Hazelmere & Helena Valley water pipeline
We are constructing a new and larger 2.4-kilometre water pipeline that supplies water for the Goldfields and Agricultural Water Scheme (GAWS) and around 24,000 customers in the Greenmount water zone. GAWS is our largest scheme, covering the area from Mundaring Weir in the Perth hills to Kalgoorlie. This upgrade is to improve the reliability of water supply.
