When is this taking place?

Construction commenced in August 2024 and is estimated for completion in mid 2026.

How will this impact the community?

As with any construction activities there will be an increase in noise, dust and activity in the area. There will also be temporary impacts to roads, verges and pedestrian paths.

We will keep the community updated as the project progresses and be in touch before construction commences in your area.

As a short section of the pipeline will be installed through the Gnangara Pines. We have worked closely with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), the City of Swan and our environmental team, to minimise any potential impact to the area during and after construction.

We follow a thorough reinstatement process to ensure all impacted areas are replaced like for like, where practically possible. We will also work closely with the City of Swan, City of Wanneroo, businesses and residents to ensure all reinstatements are carried out to an acceptable and high standard.

  • Street & verge parking: Please avoid parking vehicles within the road or verge while work is being completed, to allow a safe work area for our crew and the community.
  • Noise, dust, and vibrations: Noise, dust, and vibrations will be kept to a minimum, however, construction will involve road cutting, excavating, and compacting.

Upcoming construction

What is happening?

Work will soon commence work on Priest Road and Pollino Gardens. For the safety of our crew and the community, there will be no east-bound traffic on Pollino Gardens in the direction of Gnangara Road during this time. Traffic management will redirect traffic through Firmstone Circle to maintain flow.

  • Pollino Gardens: One lane will be closed and converted into a single lane road.
  • Firmstone Circle: A temporary road access connection between Pollino Gardens and Firmstone Circle will be created by removing the verge area that currently separates these 2 roads.
  • Priest Road: During construction on Priest Road between Gnangara Road and Pollino Gardens, there will be no entry or exit to Gnangara Road. Alternate access can be found via Southmead Drive or Coverwood Promenade.

When is this happening?

Work on Priest Road and Pollino Gardens is expected to commence in mid 2025. Once we receive a confirmed start date, we will let you know. The expected duration of this work is approximately 4-6 weeks.
