Project goal:

To cater for new residential developments in northern Yanchep, we plan to construct new water and wastewater pipelines along Marmion Avenue.

Status:

Commencing soon

Delivery date:

Mid 2026 – mid 2027

What's happening?

To help ensure a reliable water supply and wastewater system, we are planning to upgrade the water supply and wastewater infrastructure in Yanchep. We will construct approximately 1.6 kilometres of new water pipeline along the eastern side of Marmion Avenue in the road reserve, from Yanchep Beach Road to Botanic Boulevard. The pipeline will connect to an existing pipeline near the intersection of Marmion Avenue and Yanchep Beach Road. We will simultaneously construct a new 800 metre wastewater pipeline along Marmion Avenue.

When is this happening?

At this stage, work is expected to commence in August 2026 and will take approximately 12 months to complete. Most of the work will be completed Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm. We will notify you beforehand if nightwork or weekend work is required.

How will this impact me?

Residents may notice noise, dust, and increased vehicle activity in the area whilst we complete this work.

As with any construction activities there may be an increase in noise and dust in the area. We are working to minimise the impacts of construction on residents where possible.

Traffic management will be in place as required to direct vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists safely around the work area. Construction areas will be fenced; however, some footpaths may be impacted. We will maintain safe access to Splendid Park.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation whilst this essential work takes place.
