A large shrub or small tree to 7 metres high and 5 metres wide. Generally, pruned to a single trunk. Attractive paperbark trunk and fine, dense, green foliage. Massed clusters of white flowers are produced on the upper parts of the tree in early summer. Bird attracting. This native New South Wales species has naturalised beyond its native range. It is known to escape/spread from garden and amenity plantings and is managed as an environmental weed within the Swan NRM Region.
