Flax Lily, Blue Flax Lily

Clumping plants with upright strap leaves in a range of leaf tones. Slender flowering stems bear loose groups of blue flowers. There are many cultivars and hybrids including 'Petite Marie', 'Baby Bliss', 'Florero', 'Sea Spray', 'Blue stream', 'Coolvista', 'Streetscape', 'Dinky Di', 'Goldfield Matilda', 'Little Rev', 'Revelation' and 'Variegated'. Some forms sucker and all benefit from a tidy-up prune in late summer.
