Join our waterwise garden experience
There’s something special about wandering through a garden that feels alive, not just with colour and texture but with the care and creativity of a community working together. That’s the feeling you’ll find at this year’s Perth Garden Show, where waterwise gardens take centre stage and show what’s possible when Western Australians rethink how we nurture our outdoor spaces.
As you wander through the Water Corporation Garden Design Zone, you’ll find 2 new displays taking shape. These are more than just displays they are practical and achievable waterwise gardens, designed for you to recreate at home. Together with Tim Davies Landscaping, we’re bringing these spaces to life using a selection of some native and coastal plants that naturally thrive in our climate.
The displays provide an inspiration for visitors and starting points – places to pause, imagine and ask questions. Our team will be there across the three days, ready to chat about the small changes that make a big difference: the right soil, waterwise plant choices, the right way to water.
“When people see how simple a waterwise garden can be, it sparks something,” says Lisa Passmore, Greenlife Industry WA Executive Officer. “It’s not about doing more - it’s about doing things differently and watching your garden thrive because of it.”
These displays sit alongside garden awards, demonstration gardens and handson advice from designers and horticulture experts. So, whether you're a beginner or seasoned gardener, there's an opportunity for everyone to learn from each other.
