Alkimos New wastewater pump station

What's happening?

Water Corporation will construct a new wastewater pump station inside the Corporations' Alkimos Water Precinct. This pump is required to keep up with the increasing wastewater flows within the City of Wanneroo.

When is this happening?

Construction is scheduled to begin mid 2026 and take approximately 12 months to complete. 

How will this impact me?

As with any construction activities, there will be an increase in vehicle movement, noise, and dust in the area.

Construction will occur within Water Corporation's current Alkimos WWTP site, with vehicles accessing the site from Pectoral Promenade, Alkimos.

Access will be maintained to St James Anglican School during construction. 

Reinstatement?

We will follow a thorough reinstatement process to ensure all impacted areas are replaced like for like, where practically possible.

We will work closely with residents and the City of Wanneroo to ensure all reinstatements are carried out on an acceptable standard.
