Bullsbrook Water Pump Station
Project goal:
Water Corporation is going to construct a Booster Pump Station (BPS) in Bullsbrook, to cater for the growing community in the City of Swan.
A BPS is a facility that increases the water pressure in a pipeline. With new developments occurring around the area, this upgrade is necessary to support the increasing demand of the Bullsbrook water supply, ensuring all our customers have access to a reliable water supply.
Status:
In tender
Delivery Date:
Early 2026
What’s happening?
We are going to construct a Booster Pump Station in Bullsbrook, within the City of Swan. This project is part of a long-term plan to provide water supply to new land developments in the area.
As part of the upcoming construction, we’ll be installing and upgrading the following:
• A new pump station
• Two sections of steel water pipeline (about 182 meters and 64 meters long)
• The pipes, valves, and fittings needed to connect everything
• Electrical components including power cables, switchboards and control systems
• Improvements to the station’s access roads
A project map showing the layout of the building site will be provided shortly.
When is this happening?
We have commenced the tender process and expect the construction contract to be awarded in September 2025.
Construction is anticipated to commence in late 2025 and take approximately 6 months to complete.
Where is this happening?
The pump station site will be located alongside Chittering Road in Bullsbrook. A map of the area will be provided shortly.
How will this impact me?
As with any construction activities, there will be an increase in vehicle movement, noise, and dust in the area.
Unfortunately, this work also requires unavoidable impact to the verge, kerbs, and the road. All areas impacted by the work will be returned to as close to their original condition as possible.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation whilst this essential work takes place.
