Flinders Precinct - Latitude 32 Wastewater Infrastructure Project

What’s happening?

We are proposing to construct new wastewater infrastructure to connect the Flinders Precinct to the broader wastewater network. The proposed works include:

• A Type 180 wastewater pumping station
• Gravity sewer pipelines ranging from 300 mm to 600 mm in diameter
• New sewer pressure mains, including:

o Approximately 3.6 km of 355 mm diameter pressure main
o Approximately 0.9 km of 560 mm diameter pressure main

These works will provide essential wastewater services to support the development of the Flinders Precinct and its connection to the wider wastewater network.

Where is this happening?

The project is located within the Latitude 32 Flinders Precinct in Hope Valley, in the City of Kwinana. The location of the new infrastructure has been carefully planned in consultation with relevant stakeholders to minimise impacts on nearby properties and existing services.

Why is this taking place?

This project is needed to support future development and economic growth within the Latitude 32 precinct, while ensuring the safe transfer and treatment of wastewater. The proposed infrastructure will provide the capacity required to meet the area's long-term servicing needs and support future growth.
