Gossage Road Culvert Upgrade

To upgrade Bridge 153 on Gossage Road to improve safety and support future growth in the area.

What’s happening?
Water Corporation will upgrade Bridge 153 located on Gossage Road, Cadrup. This work will support continued growth in the Shire of Serpentine and Jarrahdale, as well as improve public safety and the long-term reliability of the bridge.
This work will take place between March and July 2026, Monday to Saturday between 7am and 6pm. Work will be carried out by authorised contract, DM Civil.
Road closure details
To complete these works safely and efficiently, we will need to temporarily close Gossage Road.
- Location: Gossage Road, between Kargotich Road and Hopkinson Road in Cardup
- March to late June 2026
We apologise if this detour cause any inconvenience. Keeping the community safe is our priority.
Emergency evacuation routes
In the event of an emergency evacuation for residents located between Bournbrook Avenue and Hopkinson Road:
- Primary evacuation route: Travel west towards Bournbrook Avenue.
- Secondary evacuation route: If the primary route is unsafe, residents will be able to travel east through the construction site and exit onto Hopkinson Road (southbound) or continue north via the project haulage track.
Traffic controllers or emergency services may be present - please follow all instructions.
If evacuating with a horse float, take extra care as the surface may be uneven in some area.
