Hazelmere water pipeline

What’s happening?

Water Corporation are planning to construct a new water main of approximately 1.4km in Hazelmere. The new water main is 1.4m in diameter and is required to increase the supply capacity between the Northern and Lower Helena System which supports the supply to Goldfield and Agricultural Water Supply (GAWS).

How will this impact the community?

As with any construction activities there will be an increase in noise, dust and activity in the area. There will also be temporary impacts to local roads and an increase in vehicles entering and exiting the site.

For your safety and that of the crew, please follow the directions on site.

We will continue to provide updates on the impacts as we near construction. 

Reinstatement

Water Corporation follow a thorough reinstatement process to ensure all impacted areas are replaced like for like, where practically possible. We will work with City of Swan and impacted landowners to ensure these are completed to an acceptable standard.
