Mt Eliza pump station

What’s happening?

We are working to construct a new water pump station next to the Mount Eliza Reservoir site in Kings Park. We are working closely with the team at Botanic Gardens Parks Authority (BGPA) to ensure minimal disruption to the public.

When is this happening?

Work is scheduled to commence in June 2026 and is expected to be completed by end of 2026. Work will take place on weekdays between 7am to 5pm.

Where is this happening?

The pump station site is located by Mount Eliza reservoir off May Drive.

What to expect:

• You may notice increased vehicle movements at the car park behind Mount Eliza.
• There may be some temporary closures to the footpath between the car park and Kings Park Education Centre
• There will be some additional noise and vibration around the Mount Eliza reservoir site.
• Some vegetation will be removed to access existing pipework to be upgraded. We are working with BGPA to minimise impacts to vegetation.
