Roxburghe wastewater upgrades

What’s happening?

Our authorised contractor, DM Civil, has begun upgrading a section of wastewater pipe located along Roxeburghe Drive. The Roxburghe wastewater pipeline is a critical asset and this upgrade will help secure the reliability of wastewater to the Ellenbrook area for the future.

Where is this happening?

Work started at the Pump Station, which is located 50 meters south of Dalmilling Drive, and will continue through to the intersection of Roxburghe Drive and Champagne Terrace. 

What to expect?

As with any construction activities, there will be an increase in noise, dust, light, and truck activity in the area. There will also be temporary impacts to roads, vergers, and pedestrian paths. the south bound lane on Roxburghe Drive between Dalmilling Drive and Portmarnock Drive will be temporarily closed whilst work is taking place. Traffic management and detours are in place to help guide traffic around the area. Please follow directions and allow extra time for your trip. We will aim to reduce these impacts where possible.

Will this impact my water supply?

This is a wastewater project and will therefore not impact your water service. Should you have any issues with your water supply, please contact our Faults Team on 13 13 75.

Temporary Road Closure 

Our authorised contractor, DM Civil, are in the final stages of work to upgrade a section of wastewater pipe located along Roxeburghe Drive, with ongoing traffic management required to execute this work as safely and efficiently as possible. 
As part of the final work to tie-in and commission the new wastewater pipeline along Roxburghe Drive, a temporary full road closure along Roxburghe Drive is required, with a temporary access track created for local traffic access. This closure will take place between Tuesday 20 January and Thursday 22 January 2026. We apologise for any inconvenience this closure may cause. 

What to expect? 

- Roxburghe Drive will undergo a full closure between the corner of Champagne Terrance cul-de-sac (South) and immediately before the Dalmilling Rd, Roxburghe Drive intersection (North).

- A temporary access track will be created for Roxburghe residents during this closure period. This access track will be located at the north end of the closure near the Dalmilling Rd, Roxburghe Drive intersection. A map has been included below for more information.

- Traffic management and detours will be in place to help guide traffic around the area. Please follow directions and allow extra time for your trip
