Sovereign Hill to Guilderton Pipeline

What’s happening?

To improve the reliability of water services in the region, Water Corporation is planning to construct a new pipeline from Sovereign Hill tank (located off Sovereign Hill Drive) to the Guilderton Water Treatment Plant.

Water Corporation and our authorised contractor, DM Civil, will be undertaking site visits and working in the Sovereign Hill and Guilderton areas over coming months as we move towards construction.

When is this happening?

Construction of the pipeline and the associated upgrades is planned to commence in early- 2026, with the new pipeline expected to take approximately 8 months to complete. We will continue to update the community on our progress.

How will this impact the community?

During the pipeline's construction nearby landowners and residents may experience some dust and noise impacts and traffic management if required. We appreciate construction work can be impactful, and we thank you for your patience and cooperation whilst this essential work is carried out.
