Project goal:

Water Corporation is planning to upgrade wastewater services in the City of Wanneroo. The upgrades are split into two stages. Stage one is in Ashby, and stage two is in Sinagra. Both stages are necessary to increase the capacity of wastewater services in the City of Wanneroo, and will ensure the reliability of wastewater services for years to come.

Status:

In planning

Delivery Date:

Early 2026

What and where is this happening?

Stage one:

A new wastewater pipeline will be constructed in Ashby. The new pipeline will be running from the City of Wanneroo Ashby Depot through to the bushland next to Lautrec Loop, continuing into Lautrec Loop, and finally connecting to existing services on Monet Drive. It is approximately 365 meters in length.

Stage two:

A new wastewater pipeline will also be constructed in Sinagra. The new pipeline will connect two existing services, increasing the capacity of wastewater services in the area. It is approximately 15 meters in length.

A project map showing the layout of the building site will be provided shortly.

When is this happening?

Construction is scheduled to start early 2026 and it will take approximately 6 months to complete both stages.

The work will be taking place Monday to Friday’s, between 7am and 5pm.

How will this impact me?

As with any construction activities, there will be an increase in vehicle movement, noise, and dust in the area.

There will be traffic management in place as needed, with access to residents maintained at all times.

Unfortunately, this work also requires unavoidable impact to the verge, kerbs, and the road.

All areas impacted by the work will be returned to as close to their original condition as possible. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation whilst this essential work takes place.
