Third Street Bridge Upgrade

Where is this happening?

Bridge 928 is located on Third Street, just north of River Road, past Harvey Fresh in Harvey.

When is this happening?

We are currently in the early planning phase for a possible bridge upgrade. If the project progresses, construction would be expected to occur no earlier than 2026. Timeframes will be confirmed once planning is finalised and funding and approvals are in place.

What will the impacts be?

If construction proceeds, Third Street may need to be closed to traffic while works are underway, with a detour put in place. Any traffic changes will be communicated well in advance should the project move into delivery.

We understand that any future construction activity may cause temporary inconvenience. If the project proceeds, we will work closely with the community to minimise impacts where possible.
