Sovereign Hill to Guilderton Pipeline

What’s happening?
To improve the reliability of water services in the region, Water Corporation is investigating possible routes for a new pipeline from Sovereign Hill tank (located off Sovereign Hill Drive) to the Guilderton Water Treatment Plant.
As part of our planning, Water Corporation staff and contractors will be working in the Sovereign Hill and Guilderton areas over coming months to complete site visits, feature and geotechnical survey work to check ground conditions.
When is this happening?
Pending receipt of our approvals, we are planning to commence construction of the pipeline in late 2025
and the associated upgrades in 2026.
How will this impact the community?
During the pipeline's construction nearby landowners and residents may experience some dust and noise impacts and traffic management if required. We appreciate construction work can be impactful, and we thank you for your patience and cooperation whilst this essential work is carried out.
What happens next?
Following receipt of all of our approvals, we will provide another project update.
