Kangaroo Paw Tall Cultivars

Clumping plants with strap leaves to 40–50 cm and tall flowering stems to as much as 1.5 metres high bearing typical kangaroo paw flowers from spring into early summer. Most are resistant to ink disease and apparently not too attractive to slugs and snails. Bird attractant. Prune hard in autumn.

Named cultivars include 'Autumn Blaze' (orange-yellow), 'Big Red', 'Gold Fever' (orange-gold), 'Rampaging Roy Slaven' (orange-red), 'Regal Velvet' (pale red and green) and 'Yellow Gem' (yellow).
