A small, rounded shrub that occurs on the coast from Jurien Bay to Cape Arid. It grows to 1 metre high and wide with dense dark green foliage and massed terminal heads of pink flowers in spring. Prune lightly after flowering.

Cultivars include 'Bonne Petite' (smaller with deep pink flowers), 'Magenta Mist' (magenta coloured flowers), 'Pink Cloud' (50 cm high by 1 m wide, pink flowers), 'Pink Pencil' (to 1 m, pink flowers), 'Pink Solitaire' (50 cm high and wide, pink flowers), 'Pygmy White' (10 cm high by 30 cm wide, white flowers), 'Shell Pink' (pale pink flowers) and 'Sunset Blush' (50 cm high and wide, pink flowers).
