Pistachio Nut Tree

Very tough, small, deciduous tree from the middle east, to 10 metres high and 7 metres wide. There are separate male and female trees. Pinnate foliage with autumn tones. Takes 5–10 years to bear nuts. Loves hot dry conditions and will tolerate salt. This plant may only be available at specialist nurseries.
