Win a visit from Kep!

Our leak detection dog Kep and her handler travel around the state looking for leaks. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to win a Kep visit for your school. To go into the draw to win, download our “seek a leak” activity sheet and take a snap of your students working through the activity. Get in quick during Term 2, the draw closes 30 June, 2019.

We've recharged our Groundwater Replenishment Visitor Centre!

Did you know you can visit our centre in Craigie for free? Students will learn about the water cycle journey through interpretive walkways, multimedia experiences and on-site viewing stations. Learn about wastewater treatment and water recycling processes and how groundwater replenishment can play a role in sustaining Perth's water supplies.

World Water Day 2019

To help celebrate World Water Day, Minister Dave Kelly helped students build their own ‘edible aquifer’ to show what happens when contaminants (food colouring) enter the environment. The students at East Beechboro Primary School had a great time and learnt more about the importance of groundwater. Try this experiment at your school.

Welcome to our new Waterwise schools

We would like to welcome new schools to our waterwise community. Canning Vale College, Kalamunda Primary School, Mandurah Baptist College, Ocean Reef Senior High School, Spearwood Alternative and Bunbury Cathedral Grammar have joined us in 2018! We are very excited to have them on board. We look forward to sharing what these schools have been up to on their waterwise journey.
